Salom Appoints new CTO
In view of the company's global presence, customer needs and technology orientation, the Salom board has decided to create the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to enhance our technical capabilities, and we are honored to welcome Dr. Jing Wang, former Senior R&D Director of Anker Innovation Ltd, as our CTO. Jing used to be the vice president of SECEU, so many Salom customers and partners are already familiar with him.
Dr. Wang was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer of Salom Group on April 25, 2024, overseeing R&D and product support at Salom Xiamen, as well as technical innovation, team development, and collaboration with upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, industry associations and other organizations in Saloms overseas operations.
Dr. Wang majored in electrical engineering and obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2010 and holds various professional qualifications (including EUR ING, CEng, IntPE (UK), MIET and PMP). With a wealth of experience as an engineer, including his role as Principal Engineer at Murata Power Solutions, Vice President of Salom EU, and Senior R&D Director at Anker, these professional achievements bring invaluable expertise to the team.
